TTG Travel Hall of Fame 2013 Hong Kong International Airport

Hong Kong International Airport

What is the one most important decision you have made to your business this year, in view of the competitive environment today?
We remain firmly committed to service excellence and meeting the traffic demand in the medium to long term. To cope with medium-term traffic growth, we will provide a total of 48 additional parking stands and a passenger concourse by the end of 2015, among other facility and system enhancements.

Planning relating to the expansion of Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) into a three-runway system is also well underway. These expansion plans and projects are being carried out with a view to strengthen Hong Kong’s status as a leading aviation hub and provide travellers with a delightful airport experience.

What is your goal for 2014?
We will continue to operate a world-class airport while equipping HKIA for growth and striving to be the greenest worldwide.

What must travel experts do to be even more valuable to you?
We would like travel experts to share with us their views on how we may provide them with an even better airport experience and give us a few minutes’ of their time when our colleagues approach them for comments. We value passenger feedback which is important for our ongoing pursuit of service excellence.
